Every
student in Air Foundation School System is insured
against educational expenses. In case of demise of the
earning parent, the child’s tuition fee up to O Levels
is covered. EFU is the first insurance company in
Pakistan
to be offering this valued insurance scheme, thus
helping alleviate the financial burden of education in
the unfortunate situation of a parent’s death.
Our
trained First Aiders are able to deal with small cuts
and abrasions. However,
if a child is very uncomfortable and distressed we will
advise you to collect your child from school.
The
first aid staff will only administer medicine to
children in exceptional cases.
If it is absolutely necessary for a child to
receive medicine during the school day, written
permission MUST be given by parents and one dose should
be sent in at a time in a clearly labelled small
container to the school office.
We ask that you send in 2 asthma inhalers, should
your child require them. One is kept with the child and
they take responsibility for their own inhaler.
The other is kept in the school office in case of
emergency. Consent forms must be signed and the school
accepts no liability for administering or failure to
administer medicines.
If
your child requires emergency treatment we will always
contact you immediately.
It is therefore essential that we have your home
telephone number and/or mobile and a business or
neighbour’s telephone number.
Please ensure that we have an up-to-date contact
for this purpose.
Through
the school, arrangements are made with parents for
certain health services to be offered to the children.
These include medicals, eye and hearing tests and
vaccination.
